Job
Summary:
The Logistics and Administration Manager will be overseeing highly
syndicated logistics infrastructure and processes, putting in place systems
that support field operations, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
in all our field offices.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Manage the procurement process and ensure timely
delivery of goods and services
·        
In charge of asset management and maintenance
developing systems that ensure quick tracking
·        
Ensure that at all times project logistical
infrastructure is well maintained and able to support field operations.
·        
He / she will also ensure proper budgeting and
steady supplies of office consumables and supplies
·        
Responsible for managing contracts for rentals for
office premises, leases and other equipment
·        
Actively monitor consumption patterns for fuels,
lubricants and prepare logs accordingly
·        
Follow up on legal issues; civil litigation,
insurance claims; premiums and court cases in a timely manner
·        
In charge of general office administration; office
security; travel schedules; internet systems, ICT maintenance and other office
needs that ensure smooth operations.
·        
Follow up tax clearance, renewal of licenses, MOUs
and legal certificates.
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience: 
·        
The applicant must have a balance of competencies
in both logistics management and administration with a Bachelor’s Degree in
Administration, Logistics or Procurement Management.
·        
At least Level II of a professional qualification
preferably CIPS.
·        
At least five years’ experience in a medium sized
NGO including managing supplies and logistics for humanitarian emergencies.
·        
The job holder should be an impeccable
administrator, highly organized and able to put in place systems that enhance
office operations and workflow efficiency in each of our 6 field offices as
well as at the head office.
·        
Familiarity with logistics management software
will be an added advantage.
·        
Core
skills:
Team building, people management, excellent communication, conflict
resolution, results oriented, impeccable organizational skills and ability to
work under minimal supervision.
