Job
Summary:
The Internal Auditor supports the Board Audit Committee and provides
supervision to the Assistants.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Support the institution to accomplish its
objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and
improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes;
·        
Carry out periodic audits for branches and
departments
·        
Coordinate, monitor and facilitate compliance with
policies, existing laws, rules and regulations.
·        
Guide the Board of Directors and management on the
adequacy of the systems, risk management and IT controls.
·        
Effectively assess, identify, evaluate and
establish the nsk profile of ECLOF-U and recommends mitigations measures.
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience: 
·        
The ideal candidate should preferably hold a University
degree in accountancy or business administration
·        
Prior experience in a micro-finance institution is
preferred
·        
The applicant must be a professional accountant
(CPA/ACCA) with a minimum of four years’ audit experience of which two should have
been at supervisory level.
·        
Determined personality with initiative,
perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team
·        
Capability and willingness to take responsibility
and highly developed sense of integrity
·        
Ready to comply and live up to and in accordance
with the organization ideal mid core values
·        
Computer literacy i.e. proficient in the use of Microsoft
office applications
·        
Proficient in loan tracking and accounting
software
·        
Mature, confident and firm.
·        
The applicant must be a committed Christian, able
to stand above denominational diversities
