Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Early Childhood Teacher will develop and
deliver curriculum founded on the centre’s philosophies whilst following
childcare regulations and National Quality Standards - Create positive learning environments
including resources based on child-directed learning - Develop strategies to guide positive childrens’
behaviour - Build good, open communication with children,
families and staff - Observe and record children’s growth,
development and behaviour - Ensure the learning environment is clean,
hygienic and safe - Help develop teaching goals for the centre
and its teachers - Carry out administrative tasks as required
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Applicants should preferably be Early
childhood graduates or possess similar qualifications. Prior experience in
similar jobs would be of added advantage. - Previous experience working in a childcare
setting - Broad knowledge and understanding of the
Early Years Learning Framework - Excellent organisational and teamwork skills
- The incumbent should be a highly motivated
teacher capable of inspiring and being part of a great team, teaching and
looking after pre-primary (4 – 6 year olds). - Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy skills
- Clean medical certificate
