Road Fund (URF) is a body corporate established by the Uganda Road Fund Act
2008, to finance routine and periodic maintenance of public roads.
public face of the Uganda Road Fund, primary contact, attending to all the
Fund’s visitors both physical and those on the phones in a professional manner
with good etiquette. The job holder will provide secretarial, clerical and
administrative support in order to ensure that the Fund’s services are provided
in an effective and efficient manner.
- In charge of answering all incoming telephone
calls for the Secretariat with professionalism and upholding telephone
etiquette. - The incumbent will receive and direct
visitors to corresponding members of the Secretariat. - The incumbent will update and maintain a
database of all incoming and outgoing mail. - Provide word processing support to Secretariat
as and when required. - Maintain a visitors’ register.
- Receive and distribute incoming mail and
courier packages and arrange for the collection of outgoing mail and
courier packages. - Offer support / backup to the Executive
Office/Administration function. - The jobholder will maintain a booking
register for all meetings in the Boardroom and arrange for the meetings. - Perform other such functions and duties that
are delegated to the position by management.
- The ideal candidate for the Uganda Road Fund Client
Relations Assistant career opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s degree in
Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, Human Resource Management,
Hospitality and Office Management and any other relevant discipline. - A minimum of two years’ experience in a
similar role. - Possession of a certificate or extra training
in Customer care or General office management is an added advantage. - Broad knowledge and understanding of the Road
Fund and it’s relating stakeholders and designated agencies. - The applicant must have a pleasant
personality, presentable appearance and be able to demonstrate: - Excellent communication skills.
- High degree of confidentiality and maturity.
- A calm approach and able to maintain
stability of mind under tight deadlines and simultaneous demanding
situations. - Age limit: Below 30 years
