Summary: The Finance Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and
directing all accounting functions in the Finance Department. The incumbent
will also be safeguarding organizational assets and fiscal record keeping. The
job holder will be tasked with the preparation and submission of reports for
Senior Management, the board of directors, external users. The job holder also
monitors department policies and procedures and recommends improvements. She /
he will also ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with generally
accepted accounting principles, legal, regulatory, and organization procedures.
The incumbent ensures that the Finance Department supports the overall goals of
the organization and that finance services are delivered professionally and
efficiently.
