Consulting Ltd is an HR Consultancy company that seeks to recruit for its valuable
client.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Supervision and effective oversight and utilisation
of company Security officers through effective deployment and job assignment.
·        
In charge of ensuring that all the company security
installations are operational by liaising with the department of property
services for servicing, replacement of broken down equipment as the case may
be.
·        
Work closely with all outsourced security service
providers and ensuring redress of all emerging security issues and updating
management on their resolution in a timely manner.
·        
Guide on the required essential security equipment,
its deployment and monitor its utilisation from time to time
·        
Responsible for the implementation and
operationalization of the provisions of the Bank’s security policy and
procedure, suggest amendments to mitigate and or deter detected threats and
dangers.
·        
Keenly analyse daily CCTV reports and flag and
follow up security concerns that can expose the company from time to time.
·        
Provide a detailed report on actions taken and
outcomes.
·        
Have a comprehensive understanding of all the
functions of the company Security systems and installations and be on call
24/7.
·        
Identify and undertake the appropriate action and
initiate procedures that deal with emergencies as necessary [including but not
limited to contacting key holders and emergency services].
·        
Act as the security emergency coordinator and ensure
that all security and safety systems are functional.
·        
Follow up on all alarm activations and access
Control violations across the network
·        
Work closely with the Police, Fire brigade, security
Companies, and key management staff in the event of an incident involving any
of the Branches and or location.
·        
Actively monitor and ensure recording of CCTV images
at the head office and ensure adequate back up are maintained to aid
investigation.
·        
Prepare briefs to management from time to time of
the progress on any incident from time to time.
·        
Regularly review and flag security issues logged in
the occurrence book at all locations and report as appropriate.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The applicant should preferably hold an honours
Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.
·        
The ideal candidate should have at least seven years
practical experience in Security Management
·        
Working knowledge and acquaintance with the Banks
Security systems are ideal.
·        
Previous experience in investigation and security is
ideal. Relevant Knowledge 1.
·        
Broad working knowledge of and acquaintance with
security surveillance
·        
Keen eye for details
·        
Excellent communication skills
·        
Working knowledge of security surveillance skills
·        
Good working knowledge of computers.
·        
Previous experience in security management in a busy
and complex environment is essential
