About US:
Johnass
International College of Health Sciences (JICHS), is a private institution,
destined to address the inadequacy of healthcare training in Uganda, the East
African region and beyond. The College is licensed by the Uganda Ministry of Education
and Sports to focus on training the Healthcare practitioners at Certificate
levels. In future, it will offer Degrees and Diploma programs. The institution
is at the moment composed of one School of Nursing and Midwifery.
Job Summary:  The Clinical Instructors (Midwifery) will instruct,
guide and supervise to trainees during practical lessons and activities at the
school and in the filed/practicum areas.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
The incumbent will prepare materials used by the
trainee nurses.
·        
Actively participate in assessing trainee’s
performance in class;
·        
Participates and prepares for clinical/field work
activities for the trainees;
·        
Maintain and ensure proper use of inventory and
equipment;
·        
The job holder will guide and counsel students;
·        
Participates in co-curricular activities and
community activities
·        
Perform any other duties related to the profession.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The ideal candidate for the Clinical Instructor
(Midwifery) should possess  a Diploma in
Midwifery and registered with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.
·        
Two years’ teaching and /or practical experience is
an added advantage.
·        
Excellent organizational skills
·        
Good guidance and counseling skills
·        
Excellent communication skills
·        
Good evaluation skills
·        
Excellent interpersonal skills
·        
Good computer and IT skills
·        
Working knowledge of safety and precautionary
measures.
