Uganda is Non-profit organization whose primary mission is to equip refugees
and others affected by conflict in Africa to meet the challenges of development
through providing access to education, training, and employment opportunities
by advocacy and direct programme activity. Windle Trust Uganda has been a
leading provider of access to university education, post-primary education, and
vocational training for conflict-affected Africans since 1996.
Uganda (WTU) works in partnership with the UNHCR in various Refugee Settlements
operation areas in Nakivale, Oruchinga, Kyaka, Kiryandongo, Arua, Adjumani and Rwamwanja.
Project Assistant will mainly be responsible for the coordination, Monitoring
and Evaluation of Scholarship activities in the field. The incumbent will provide
adequate and timely professional guidance, supervision, capacity building and
management support to the teachers, pupils and students.
Experience:
The applicant should preferably hold a Diploma in
Education.
A minimum of four years of proven experience in
effective and efficient management of education and high quality output.
Working knowledge of Ugandan Education system.
Must be in position of a motor cycle and possession
of a riding permit.
