About USAID SHOPS Project:
The
Strengthening Health Outcomes through the Private Sector (SHOPS) project is
USAID’s flagship initiative in private sector health. SHOPS focuses on
increasing availability, improving quality, and expanding coverage of essential
health products and services in family planning and reproductive health,
maternal and child health, HIV and AIDS, and other health areas through the
private sector. In Uganda, the healthy mother voucher program has two
objectives: to provide access to maternal child health care services from
accredited private facilities and to build the capacity of a local organization
to manage the voucher program.

Job Summary: The Monitoring
and Evaluation Manager will be responsible for the monitoring project
activities and ensuring high quality and timely inputs.

Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:

The ideal candidate should preferably hold a
Master’s Degree (minimum) in public health, business administration, social
marketing, or other related fields;

At least eight years of relevant professional
experience in monitoring and evaluation of international development projects;

Detailed working knowledge of different M&E
tools, approaches, and methods;

Prior exposure and experience in M&E in Uganda
or similar countries.
