the Republic of Korea in Uganda is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of
Korea and it was established in 1963 after Uganda’s independence. On March 26,
1963, the Republic of Korea and Uganda agreed to begin bilateral relations.
Recently, the areas of human resource exchange and economic growth have been
receiving a lot of attention. We are especially active in the developmental
areas. Uganda is one of the ODA (official donor assistance) nations of Korea.
On October 2012, both countries concluded a grant-aid agreement that will
encourage even greater bilateral cooperation.
The Personal Assistant to the Ambassador will
serve as the
Ambassador’s personal and confidential secretary
In charge of preparing and managing all correspondence,
maintain schedules and appointments
Work closely with internal and external contacts
Perform any other administrative duties as assigned
Experience:
The Personal Assistant to the Ambassador must hold a
University Degree
Computer literacy skills i.e. Proficiency in
computer including Microsoft software and Internet research
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The applicant must also be hard working and ready to
take on challenging tasks
Keen attention to detail, service orientation and
time management
Prior working experience in relevant responsibility
will be an added advantage
