Housing & Construction Corporation, a parastatal involved in real estate
business has 5% shareholding and National Social Security Fund (NSSF) holds 50%

Manager Home Loans will develop Home loan growth strategies and monitor the
implementation of the delivery of targets in line with the Bank’s credit
policies, overall growth strategies and regulatory frameworks.
The incumbent will also grow Home loans through
monitoring delivery of targets in line with the lending policies, Credit
optimisation procedure manuals and overall bank strategy
Monitor portfolio quality to minimise movement to
NPA in line with credit policies and the regulatory framework and standards
Closely monitor home Loan compliance in line with
bank lending standards and procedures
Manage the performance of staff under direct
supervision (Relationship managers and sales officers) in accordance with the
Performance Management guidelines.
Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with customers,
other stakeholders in the real estate industry and related professional bodies
Actively engage and support Branches in loan
origination and growth of mortgage business
Develop and maintain productive client, staff and
management relationships through individual contacts and group meetings
In charge of evaluating borrowing proposals and
further disbursement requests, negotiating terms with customers and, where
appropriate, recommending approval and further drawdowns respectively
Prepare and send reports on home loans growth and
portfolio quality as and when required
Experience:
The applicant should preferably hold an Honours
degree in business or related field from a recognized University.
Possession of a Post-graduate qualifications /
Professional Course in relevant discipline would be an added advantage.
At least seven years’ experience in banking,
preferably progressive experience in credit
Broad knowledge and understanding of Laws and
regulations relating to lending in Financial Institutions.
Computer literacy skills
Credit analytical skills
Good marketing and sales skills
Good relationship management skills
