About USAID Project:
Cardno is
seeking to implement an anticipated USAID-funded Integrated Health Activity in
Northern Uganda. This project aims to increase utilization of health services
through increased availability of and accessibility to health services,
improved quality of health services and increased availability of resources for
public sector health services. Key aims of the program are reduction in HIV
infections, total fertility, maternal and child mortality, malnutrition,
malaria and tuberculosis (TB).

Job Summary: The Director of
Health Service Strengthening will support the USAID Project in the design and
implementation of key health systems strengthening (HSS) activities directed
towards District Health Teams (DHTs) and project supported facilities.

Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:

The ideal candidates should hold advanced degrees in
public health, medicine, management or relevant field

A minimum of eight years of mid to senior level
project management experience on donor funded health programs

Past experience in Uganda and/or East Africa region
in the design, management and implementation of similarly large donor-funded

community level.
