In charge of planning and implementing Resettlement
Action Plans for Infrastructure projects
Responsible for implementing the valuation system in
line with the approved guidelines
In charge of monitoring the market by considering
market demand, condition of items, future trends and other factors (e.g.
location, size, zoning legislation).
Developing time based land acquisition and
compensation procedures
Providing technical advice on valuation matters
Following up with the concerned authorities on
crucial reports and documentation as well as approval of valuation reports.
In charge of participating in contract management
for assigned land acquisition projects
Giving evidence in legal proceedings and mediate on
valuation matters.
Responding to valuation complaints and queries in
line with the established procedures and set standards
Managing the identification and verification of
documents in respect of land acquisition submitted for payment
Preparing timely valuation performance reports.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Experience:
The applicant should hold an Honors Bachelor’s
Degree in Land Economics or Valuation. Hold a post graduate qualification in
valuation from a recognized University/ institution will be of added advantage.
At least seven years’ experience in Valuation
Environment in Government or a reputable organization three (3) of which must
have been at a senior level.
Registration with the Chief Government Valuer and
relevant professional body
High level of integrity, resilience and reliability.
Ability to develop, coach, mentor and lead effective
teams through change and transition.
Consults and encourages sharing of information
within a team environment and across functional areas.
Highly proactive with knowledge of working with
communities.
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
Result orientation with a strong quality focus.
