planning and implementing HR operations, talent, performance and OD initiatives
that leverage, attract, retain and optimize top talent in line with the Bank’s
strategy
Plan and implement the system for acquiring Bank’s
talent and design a system for
engaging deploying and rewarding the talent in line with HR polices and
business needs
The job holder also implements the banks staffing
plan in line with the current and future staffing needs, the HR policy and the
approved structures for all operational units in the Bank
Develop and maintain a detailed applicants’ data
bank for all jobs in the bank as per the Bank’s recruitment policy and
procedures
Prepare, monitor and track the on boarding process
for all new staff in line with the Bank’s Employee Value Proposition, risk
management framework and the HR policies
Receive, Compile and file performance management
reports, appraisal recommendations across the network in line with the
performance management work plan.
Oversee the process of administering performance
management tools (i.e. role profiles, competence profiles, performance
agreements and PIPs guides) in line with the Performance Management guidelines.
The incumbent will also manage and participate in
the process of job analysis and competence profiling and providing technical
support in the implementation of performance management frame work in line with
the identified needs
Prepare, produce and submit reports on talent
acquisition, deployment, lateral movements, promotions, performance,
productivity and OD initiatives as and when required for business decisions making
Experience:
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor of Human
Resources Management, Organisational and industrial psychology or related field
Possession of a post graduate diploma is an added
advantage.
At least three years’ experience in Human resource
management.
Detailed understanding of Ugandan labour laws and HR
best practices.
Working knowledge in technical HR facets and
emerging HR trends.
Excellent interpersonal skills

Highly proactive and quick response to customers’ queries
Customer centric disposition
Excellent analytical and data manipulation skills
High level of integrity
Ability to work independently and as a team
