Job Summary: The Performance
Management & Organizational Development Manager will be responsible for developing
systems and procedures that will ensure achievement of high performance and
motivation of MPL staff; communicating clearly to managers and supporting them
in implementation:
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Responsible for developing and implementing
strategies and systems to support managers in the performance management of
their staff including; developing the performance appraisal process and
carrying out training on performance management.
·        
Provide ongoing management and support to ensure
that performance measures are being used to effectively manage operations,
identify and manage risks, and effect organizational change.
·        
The incumbent will develop and implement
organizational performance improvement plans.
·        
Develops and conducts presentations and training to
organization management and staff on the performance appraisal system.
·        
Design and execute key programmatic elements of the
organizational development process and evaluate strategies and programs to
measure the achievement of established goals;
·        
The incumbent will manage and lead a pay for
performance evaluation system
·        
Carries out assessments and gap analyses on employee
skills and training
·        
Manage and assess MPL organizational development
strategies and processes
·        
Render support in facilitation and coaching to
supervisors and managers regarding organizational development methods and
tools;
·        
Plan and lead short- and long-term planning for
organizational development programs;
·        
Supervise the formulation of reward recognition and
benefits strategies aligned to MPL business needs, develop and manage related
policy and procedures and systems.
·        
Conduct annual reward related equality audits
ensuring fairness and consistency in the operation of reward recognition and
benefits strategies and related policy procedures and systems
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The applicant should hold a Bachelor’s degree in
Human Resource Management or equivalent honors degree with a post graduate
diploma in Human Resources.
·        
A minimum of five years’ experience in HR, three
years’ experience in performance management specifically.
·        
Significant experience of effective challenging and
influencing at management level.
·        
Possess the ability to develop and maintain
excellent working relationships.
·        
Ability to influence and coaching skills.
·        
Advanced computer literacy skills with the ability
to do analysis of data and generate reports.
·        
Working knowledge and understanding of the present
employment legislation.
·        
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to
prioritize work, excellent organizational skills, and initiative to improve
processes.
