Job Summary: The Customer
Relations Executive – Imports will act as a key liaison between clients and all
relevant stakeholders to ensure excellent client experience and timely service
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
·        
The incumbent manages all services with the various
stakeholders(including principal office, affiliated offices or agents, branch
offices, supporting departments, sub-contractors)
·        
Actively coordinate all activities pertaining to
clients transactions from receipt of instructions until payment.
·        
Maintain accurate and comprehensive filing records
·        
Communicate with client promptly on key aspects
like; documentation receipt, documentation required, charges, extra costs,
cargo status, tax computations, regulatory requirements, EHS requirements and
other relevant information
·        
The job holder will regularly update stakeholders
including clients using tools as appropriate on cargo status, tax implications,
changes in policies and other relevant information
·        
Carry out client visits to engage client, receive
and act on feedback.
·        
Provide business development and retention of
existing clients
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
·        
The applicant should hold a good Bachelor’s Degree
in Business administration, International Business, Procurement and logistics
or related field Certification in East Africa
·        
Possession of Customs and Freight Forwarding
Practicing Certificate is an added advantage
·        
A certificate in customer care is an added advantage
·        
A minimum of two years’ experience in a reputable
fast paced business environment preferably in a Clearing and Forwarding or
Shipping Company
·        
Computer literacy i.e. Proficiency in Microsoft
Office packages
·        
High degree of dynamism
·        
Good business acumen Confidence & passion
·        
Excellent communication skills
·        
Excellent interpersonal skills and charisma
·        
Quick learner and adept High integrity and ethical
standards
