Job Summary: The Credit Control Officer will support Spedag
Interfreight Uganda Ltd in the implementation and maintenance of an effective
credit control system

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Professionally manage clients outstanding balances
and ensure collections are made as and when due

The incumbent will also ensure the timely delivery
of invoices to clients, follow up for payment and ensure client queries on
billing are sorted out promptly

Actively monitor the progress of all pending
transactions on a daily basis

The job holder updates the clients regularly on the
status of their out standings and updates the oracle system

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The Credit Control Officer should preferably hold a
good Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration majoring in finance or
accounting

Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages

A minimum of two years’ working experience in a
reputable fast paced business environment preferably in a clearing and
forwarding or shipping company
