Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
·        
Offer administrative support in various human
resource functions which include recruitment, staffing, training and
development, performance monitoring, staff discipline, industrial relations and
employee counseling.
·        
Provide support to Lodge and line managers and
supervisors to develop the skills and capabilities of staff.
·        
Support in the formulation of strategy and
monitoring of the Human Resource budgets.
·        
Significantly contribute to the creation of company
policies and procedures that facilitate best practice.
·        
Actively monitor staff performance and attendance
activities
·        
Co-ordinate staff recruitment and selection
processes to ensure a timely, organized and comprehensive procedure is used to
hire staff.
·        
Provide information and assistance to staff,
supervisors and managers on human resource and work related issues.
·        
Perform other related duties as assigned by the
General Manager.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
·        
The ideal employee for Human Resources and
Administration Officer should hold a degree in Human Resource Management or
related discipline from a recognized university / institution.
·        
Possession of a Post-graduate diploma in Human
Resource Management from College of Human Resource Management a must.
·        
A minimum of four years’ experience in a similar
position, preferably from a Hospitality setting.
·        
Working knowledge of the labour laws and the
Employment Act.
·        
Effective verbal and written communication skills
including the ability to prepare reports, proposals, policies and procedures.
·        
Ability to work without supervision and achieve
goals beyond the minimum set standards for the hotel.
·        
Ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound
judgment.
·        
The applicant must be computer literate with ability
to operate spreadsheets and word processing programs at a highly proficient
level.
