About US:
One Acre Fund
(OAF) supports smallholder farmers to increase their harvests and thus increase
their incomes. To do this, One Acre Fund provides farmers with high-quality
inputs like seed and fertilizer, financing, and training. We launched our
Uganda operations in Kamuli one year ago, and we are seeking enthusiastic
individuals to join our small but growing team.
Job Summary:  The Recruitment Manager will support One Acre
Fund in the management of the recruitment function and help them build the HR
department.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Hosting/visiting careers events
colleges/universities
·        
Building strong working relationships with key
‘nodes’ in these places also.
·        
Build and maintain a candidate database
·        
Actively seek feedback on the OAF recruitment
experience providing recommendations for improvements
·        
The incumbent will also post and advertise job
vacancies
·        
Hold screening interviews by phone and first round
interviews
·        
The incumbent will not support field recruitment
during staff up for new seasons
·        
Responsible for checking references
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The Recruitment Associate should preferably hold a a
Diploma, preferably in Business Management/Human Resource or other Social
Science program
·        
A minimum of three to five (3-5) years’ experience in
Recruiting for a medium level firm, preferably in Kampala
·        
Ability to build existing working elationships with
or good understanding of top Universities, professional organizations, etc.
·        
Proven organizational, analytical, communication
(oral and written) and training skills
·        
Ability to work with minimum supervision to meet
strict deadlines
·        
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel
and PowerPoint.
·        
Positive attitude and ability to work independently
and in a team
·        
Keen attention to detail and strong organizational
skills
·        
Creative approach to work
·        
Proactive in identifying and solving problems.
·        
Able to multitask
