International Cooperation (KOICA)
International Cooperation (KOICA) was established in 1991 by the South Korean
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade as a governmental organization for
Official Development Assistance (ODA) to enhance the effectiveness of South Korea’s
grant aid programs for developing countries by implementing the government’s
grant aid and technical cooperation programs. In Uganda, KOICA Uganda Office
was founded in 2010 September. Since then, they have been striving to implement
proper development programs for Uganda in order to improve local people’s
living condition.
In charge of drawing and reviewing of preliminary
drawings, cost estimations and detailed drawings of the various projects
Support the Resident Construction Manager in any
construction tendering process that may arise
Keenly review and preparation of final accounts and
completion certificates
In charge of the assessment of performance of the
different contractors and project managers at the different sites
Oversight of the construction projects as may be
directed by the Country Director
Experience:
The applicant should preferably be design-driven
architect
At least five to seven years of professional
experience with skills in modelling, visualisation, graphics skills and
supervision skills
Industrial, factory, workshop, office building
experience is an added advantage
Computer literacy skills i.e. Proficient in AutoCad,
MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, 3ds Max or similar 3D modelling
software
Excellent written and spoken English
