About US:
Belgian
Development Agency, BTC Uganda and Ministry of Education, Science Technology
and Sports will implement together a support program to the implementation of
the Skilling Uganda Strategy. The main aim is to raise standards and expand
coverage of training, create employable skills and competencies relevant to the
labour market instead of educational certificates.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
The incumbent will ensure well-functioning and
effective administrative, secretarial and office support to the project office.
·        
Ensure systematic documentation, records keeping
and/or filing system.
·        
Ensure the timely and credible replenishment of
requests for office imprest and its accountability.
·        
Managing all communications and proper liaison
between the offices and other relevant authorities.
·        
Take part in the preparation of quarterly project progress
reports and work plans.
·        
Keep inventory of all assets and equipment of the
project and provide logistical support to the Project staff.
·        
Manage petty cash for the office.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The Project Management Assistant should preferably
hold a degree in Social Sciences, Arts, Business Administration or a related
discipline.
·        
Possession of Post Graduate Qualifications in Public
Administration, Procurement, Office management and Social Administration is an
added advantage.
·        
A minimum of three years’ practical experience in a
reputable organization or institution.
