Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Supervise and take responsibility of production
shifts
·        
Offer timely technical guidance and support to
subordinates in the manufacturing department
·        
Manage preventive maintenance and report any
malfunctions of the machines to the productions Officer.
·        
Assign work to subordinates
·        
Work collaboratively with the productions officer
assist in the appraisal and performance of subordinates
·        
Prepare and submit daily shift production reports
and participate in making production plans
·        
Participate in routine stock taking exercises in the
plant.
·        
Actively monitor the movement of finished products
from the production plant to the warehouse.
·        
Maintains quality service by reviewing and enforcing
organizational standard operating procedures and ISO standards.
·        
Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating
and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and
resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
·        
Train and develop successors / subordinates.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The applicant should hold an ordinary diploma in
mechanical engineering or any additional training in a related field
·        
At least two years or related experience in plastics
production in the same position in a manufacturing set up.
·        
Excellent oral and written communication skills
·        
Good numerical ability, positive attitude, a team
player, flexible, results focused, takes initiative and is creative.
·        
Possess the ability to adjust to changing technology
and ability to perform to expected standards.
·        
Mechanical ability, physical strength and stamina
and the ability to work in high places
