Job Summary:  The Senior Manager Internal Audit will provide
assurance on the adequacy and proper functioning of the Bank’s framework of
risk management, control, and governance processes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
Mentor and oversee the audit staff in conducting
interviews, reviewing documents, developing and administering surveys,
composing summary memos, and preparing working papers.
In charge of managing and conducting performance,
financial and compliance audit projects.
Providing audit advisory /consulting services to the
Bank’s management and staff.
Articulate the key priority areas and provide a
major input in the development of the Annual Audit Plan.
Routinely communicate the results of audit and
consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to management
Develop and maintain productive client, staff, and
management relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.
Providing training, coaching and supervision to
Internal Audit staff in line with the set targets
Qualifications, Skills and
The applicant should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in
Accounting, Finance or Statistics from an accredited College / CPA, ACCA or
Possession of professional certification as a CIA,
knowledge of auditing, accounting, business analysis, or program evaluation
shall be an added advantage.
At least six years’ experience in a financial
institution, audit firm or a credible institution in the area of Internal Audit
Prior exposure and experience in use of ACL or any
similar data analysis tool shall be an added advantage.
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good relationship management skills
Good report writing skills
High degree of  integrity.
Ability to work under minimum supervision.
Possession of multi-tasking skills.
