Job Summary: The Technical Advisor will provide technical
support to UBOS, the MOH and other local partners for the implementation of the
Uganda PHIA Project. The Technical Advisor provides support for the survey
preparation and implementation stages.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Actively participate in protocol development;
ethical reviews; Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) & training manual
development; staff training; community sensitization; implementation; adherence
to protocol/SOPs; data management, analysis and dissemination in concert with
the ICAP Project Lead ICAP staff in New York, CDC, ICF Macro and the MOH;

collection questionnaires, manuals and procedures, working closely with UBOS
and the MOH;

deployment and logistics plan, covering all stages of the survey, including
survey data collection, the collection and testing of specimens, the return of
test results and the processing of the information, working closely with UBOS,
the MOH, the subcontractor labs and the Laboratory Expert;

the population;

Keenly monitor the survey implementation by keeping
weekly records of activities completed and monitoring the implementation of the
proposed time schedule;

Manage the establishment of an appropriate data
center at UBOS, where survey results will be centralized and survey and lab
results will be merged for each individual survey;

Keenly track PHIA progress and prepare PHIA progress

Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:

The applicant should preferably hold an MPH, MD,
PhD, or equivalent professional degree
