International Agricultural Company with Offices in Uganda.  
Job Summary:  The Regional Sales Manager will oversee the sales
of the company’s products within East Africa geographic area including Rwanda,
DRC, Lubumbashi, South Sudan etc.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
·        
In charge of developing annual sales strategies for
the business.
·        
Takes with forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly
revenue streams.
·        
Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans
to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.
·        
Build and strengthen working relationships with all
customers to maximize counter share.
·        
Carry out regular market visits to identify new
trends, enhance customer base, mitigate challenges and explore sales
opportunities.
·        
Coordinate with shipping, logistics and documentation
team to ensure orders are booked and products shipped to customers in a timely
manner.
·        
Build relationships with key regulatory authorities
for imports, customs, revenue in each market to gain access to prior
information and mitigate any regulatory risk.
·        
Work closely with competitors, clearing and
forwarding agencies, logistic companies to build strong access to market
information.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The ideal candidate should preferably hold an MBA in
Sales/Marketing or Finance.
·        
A minimum of eight to ten years’ sales experience in
Agri-Business sector with an reputed organization.
·        
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to
interpret sales performance and market trend information.
·        
Strong relationship management skills, with aptitude
in market development.
·        
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
·        
Should be willing to travel extensively to various
destination markets.
·        
Fluency in English and Swahili required. French will
be added advantage.
NB: Rwandese national is preferred although candidates
from the region, Kenya, DRC or South Sudan can be considered.
