Society Budget Advocacy Group (CSBAG)
Station: Kampala, Uganda
Budget Advocacy Group (CSBAG) is a coalition formed in 2004 to bring together
CSOs at national and district levels to influence government decisions on
resource mobilization and utilization for equitable and sustainable development.
Experience:
The Project Accountant should preferably hold a university
degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
Possession of professional ACCA qualification, CPA
and other Post graduate qualifications will be an added advantage.
At least four years of progressively responsible
experience in professional accounting or auditing preferably in NGOs
Computer literacy i.e. working knowledge of Microsoft
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint & Quick Books.
Broad knowledge and understanding of professional
accounting principles, theories, and practices.
Ability to analyze accounting processes, identify
practices and procedures that require correction or modification.
Ability to efficiently formulate recommendations for
maintaining specialized segments of accounting systems.
Excellent verbal communication skills, tact,
diplomacy and high integrity
