Job Summary: The Mobile
Money Reporting Coordinator will support business planning and forecasting as
well as Monitor Mobile Money performance and the business environment by
determining the threshold of performance, grasping each internal and external
explanatory factor of performance and estimating the penetration of Mobile
Money and other Public Access products
                                                                                                                                   
Key Duties and Responsibilities:                                                                                         
·        
Actively participate in the Mobile Money Business
planning, reforecasting and revenue
·        
modelling processes
·        
Profile and segment Mobile Money customers based on
usage, needs and preferences, disposition towards operators and satisfaction
drivers.
·        
The incumbent will identify and monitor competitors
performance and activities to anticipate competitor initiatives
·        
Establish Mobile Money customer usage patterns
through; customer profiling and classification, ARPU analysis, Churn and
Loyalty analysis
·        
Actively participate in product evaluation by
ensuring effective and efficient product performance monitoring and reporting
·        
Identify and monitor competitor performance and
activities to develop counter initiatives
·        
Generate and Share Mobile Money performance reports
(both Scheduled and Ad-hoc) with both internal and external partners.
·        
Collect, analyse, interpretate and summarize
customer data providing intelligence to support decision-making.
·        
Keenly track Mobile Money OPEX and CAPEX to provide
visibility in spend and progress on projects execution.
·        
Identifying Mobile Money related business risks and
ensure quick and appropriate resolution
·        
Offer timely support to Products and Services
pricing strategies in order to ensure economic feasibility and profitability.
·        
Monitor compliance to Mobile Money regulatory
guidelines
·        
Engage and communicate with stakeholders; both
internal and external.
·        
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
in the market place to ensure speedy response times.
·        
In charge of the data analysis often requires a
different or fresh outlook to the competitive environment and products &
services performance
·        
Continually improve on the integrity and quality of
data source and data
Key Performance Indicators:
·        
Business plan objectives met (Gross, Churn, Net,
Revenue, EBITDA) through effective customer value proposition strategies
derived from customer usage behavior insights Effective analysis of Macro
environment i.e. Telecoms trends, Opportunities for future growth and channels
distribution
·        
Effective Analysis of Micro -Environment i.e.
Customers’ profiles & segments, Usage & Attitude, needs &
preferences, Dispositions towards operators and Satisfaction drivers
·        
Effective analysis of Competition performance i.e.
Market Share (Volume Usage & Value) and Retail Management
·        
Insightful customer Usage behavior / pattern through
customer profiling and classification, ARPU analysis, Churn & Loyalty
analysis
·        
Sound reporting and assessment of the global company
performance through the main Business KPIs
·        
Sound Business Plan / Reforecast and related Key
assumptions
·        
Sound Product & services Business cases
·        
Sound Gap analysis of the external and Internal
factors affecting business performance
·        
Effective Product and Services Performance
Monitoring and reporting Effective Segmented propositions targeting specific
customers.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The applicant should hold a Bachelor’s degree in
Statistics, Commerce, Business Administration or MBA with a bias in Finance
·        
Possession of a Certificate in Business analysis (is
additional advantage)”           
·        
A minimum of three years’ experience in Business
analysis, Financial modeling and Product evaluation
·        
Past exposure and experience in carrying out
Commercial research
·        
Prior experience in Market Analytics for
Telecommunications or Banking industry
·        
Proficient with Statistical applications such as
SPSS, EPINFO
·        
Proficient with MS Office applications especially
Excel and PowerPoint”           
·        
Broad knowledge in telecommunications industry
