Job Summary:  The Voucher Data Officer will support the
Senior ICT Officer by accurately entering all voucher claims into the claims
processing platform to support the timely reimbursement of services delivered
by voucher service providers. The claims processing platform uses unique serial
numbers and barcodes on vouchers along with customized claim processing
software to promote best-in-field voucher management. Claims processing
officers are expected to undertake data entry of client information, medical
details and services received for between 60 – 100 clients per day.  The voucher Data Entrants are responsible for
ensuring the data input into the claims processing system is a true
representation of the claim form and any abnormalities are noted and flagged in
the system. 
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
1.
Accurate data input of all paper voucher claims submitted to the support office
into the claims processing system.

In charge of scanning data with proper documentation.
·        
Key data into the claims processing system as per
the programmed instructions.
2.
Incorrect or incomplete claims to be recorded and reported in the claims
processing system for vettors:
·        
Abnormalities in the claims form to be noted and
input into the system for vetters notice.
·        
Cross check the summary sheets match the detailed
data in the claims form.
·        
Take part in the pre-processing of data to locate
missing information and make corrections as necessary.
·        
Document and report common data entry
errors/incompleteness to the Senior ICT Officer.
3.
Paper records to be appropriately maintained and filed in line with the
stipulated administrative process once entered into the claims system.

Ensure paper records are filed in the appropriate
filing system for easy location of processed and unprocessed file at the end of
each day.
·        
Manage and process all data with confidentiality and
ensure all data protection mechanism is strictly adhered to.
4.
Monthly clean-up of recorded data to reconcile any data inconsistencies in the
system:
·        
Correct any data errors in the system at the end of
each month as identified by the data management team.
·        
Actively monitor the system for malfunctions; report
malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
·        
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Senior
ICT Officer.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The ideal candidate for the Voucher Data Officer
vacancies should hold diplomas in Information technology, Social sciences,
Statistics or any related discipline
·        
At least one year of data entry experience.
·        
Prior experience in operating various
work-processing software, spreadsheets, and database programs
·        
Working knowledge of Family Planning an added
advantage
·        
Past exposure and experience of data entry desirable
·        
Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of
confidentiality
·        
Excellent communication skills
·        
Proven ability to work well in a team
