and Development (AIRD) was first established in 2006 by concerned African
professionals with the common ambition and determination to contribute towards
the movement of Africans taking the lead in addressing relief, rehabilitation,
and development programs within the continent. Since then we have aspired to
advance our services and expertise outside of Africa to the world at large.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  The Finance & Admin Assistant/Office Clerk is
responsible for:
·        
Managing and controlling the facility services such
as telephone, internet, reception, security, housekeeping, etc;
·        
Ensuring the office is a hospitable and welcoming
place for visitors;
·        
Regularly assessing the needs for purchase of
stationeries, office upkeep products as per the requirements and keeping
adequate stocks;
·        
Responsible for researching specifications,
collecting quotations and preparing supplier analysis (comparative tables) for
procurement of goods and services according to AIRD regulations;
·        
Ensuring the maintenance and optimization of Head
Office IT infrastructure and systems;
·        
Supporting travel, stay and immigration arrangements
as required;
·        
Render support in planning the staff welfare programs
& activities such as staff trainings, cultural programs, retreats, team
buildings, etc;
·        
Ensuring all documents are collected, kept and
availed to relevant users according to the AIRD DMS system requirements;
·        
Keeping up to date by-laws, regulations, rules and
other critical documents of the Organization;
·        
Ensuring the asset inventory is up to date according
to AIRD regulations;
·        
Keeping petty cash and cashbooks for all projects
according to AIRD regulations;
·        
Issuing cash payments for all projects according to
AIRD regulations; and
·        
Perform any other tasks as directed by Admin/Finance
Officer
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  The applicant should preferably hold skills and
knowledge to perform the duties mentioned above.
