Bank in November 1999. Standard Chartered Bank Uganda today has a network of 11
branches in Kampala, Jinja, Mbale, Mbarara and Gulu. Standard Chartered Bank
Uganda has 29 ATMs and over 600 staff.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Responsible for the day to day running of the
Premium Service Banking Unit (PSB)
·        
In charge of preparing courier bags with customers’
statements and daily transactions from the Bank e.g. cheque books, drafts etc.
·        
Receive customers’ instructions in sealed and secure
bags from the authorized courier service provider and send transactions to
Branch for processing.
·        
Ensure customers’ transactions are processed same
day.
·        
Acknowledge receipt by stamping and returning copy
to client and verifying signatures before taking for processing.
·        
Always ensure that customers who bring in Cash in
Transit requests are handled in time.
·        
The incumbent will maintain an effective daily
system for monitoring customer’s transaction specifically on request by client.
·        
Receive and process customers’ cheque deposits.
·        
Be accountable for PSB Application Forms and
stationery etc.
·        
Quickly respond to PSB customer enquiries/complaints
where applicable specifically the walk in clients and send to Customer Service
Group for booking in the complaint management system.
·        
Ensure compliance with; Controls and Procedures on
signature verification to address Money Laundering Prevention and Compliance
Risk; Guidelines for the submission of Suspicious Activity Reports’ “issued by
Head Legal & Compliance/Country Money Laundering Officer.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The ideal candidate for the Premium Service Banking (PSB)
Officer placement should hold a good Bachelor’s Degree.
·        
Detailed working knowledge of Premium Service
Banking products, Operational procedures and policies is an added advantage.
·        
Good customer relations skills
·        
Tactful with excellent interpersonal skills.
·        
Keen attention for detail and keenness to maintain
high standards of service.
·        
Ability to serve many clients in the shortest time
possible with minimal errors.
