Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Support the Business Development/Public Relations
& Marketing Manager in the development and implementation of Pride’s annual marketing plan.
·        
The incumbent will build and strengthen strategic business partnerships with potential organizations aimed Pride’s revenue growth.
·        
Manage Pride’s advertising Campaigns  on agreed upon media houses and ensure
that  the Institution gets value for its
media spend  by consistently monitoring the
contractual performance of the respective media houses.
·        
Carry out visual brand audits across the network to
assess the status of branch branding and outdoor materials and ensure that branding
materials project a positive visual image of the institution.
·        
Responsible for regularly updating the Pride website
and social media  sites, as well as engaging Pride’s potential
and existing customers on the institution’s social media pages.
·        
Initiate and implement promotional concepts
aimed  at enhancing Pride’s competitiveness
in the market place  and  subsequently growing Pride’s market share.
·        
Support the BDPRM in implementing Pride’s CSR initiatives
as well as reviewing advertising, sponsorship and CSR proposals addressed to
Pride with a  view 
of  assessing  their relevance to the achievement of  the Institution’s business and marketing
objectives.
·        
Manage the development of Pride’s  marketing and PR materials in line with
the  approved brand manual and ensure
their effective distribution.
·        
Support the Business Development/Public Relations
& Marketing Manager in coordinating events of a marketing nature and work
closely with the media to obtain adequate coverage of such events.
·        
Take part in the development, implementation and
monitoring of the annual departmental budget.
·        
Actively participate in the gathering and
dissemination of relevant market information and intelligence to inform
marketing strategy development and implementation.
·        
Conceptualize and design marketing materials that
will be used for advertising Pride products and services i.e. Newspaper
adverts, Brochures, posters, calendars etc.
·        
Perform any other duties as may be assigned to you
from time to time by the Business Development/Public Relations & Marketing
Manager.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The ideal candidate for the Business
Development/Marketing Officer should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Administration, Bachelors of Arts, Commerce, Statistics, Marketing, Economics,
and Social Sciences or in any other relevant / related field.
·        
The applicant should hold 2 Principal passes at A’
Level and Credits in Math’s and English at O’ level.
·        
A year’s experience in marketing.
·        
He / she should have design skills and competence in
the usage of design programs like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In-Design and Adobe
Illustrator.
·        
The ideal candidate should be highly motivated,
self-driven and eager to learn.
·        
Possess high organizational skill
·        
Excellent interpersonal, communication and marketing
skills.
·        
Prior experience in working with a marketing Agency
will be an added advantage
·        
Age: Less than 28 years.
