sustainably financed secondary schools in Africa. We currently have a network
of 24 schools across Uganda and Zambia, educating around 8,000 students. PEAS
is supported by major corporate, government and private funders and our
innovative financial model is pioneering in the field of public private
partnerships in development education. PEAS is opening up four more new schools
at the beginning of 2016.
Teachers provides effective, dynamic and inspirational leadership that enables PEAS
school to fulfill its agreed Education outcomes. The Head teacher assumes
responsibility for all education targets, oversees effective progression in
teaching and learning, targeting and assessments within the school, work to
drive up expectations for both PEAS students’ performance and for teachers’
effectiveness and innovativeness; act as primary point of contact for MoES,
UNEB, and in conjunction with the Director, work with the Board of Governors
PTA and other key stakeholders, for the best interests of the students.
Experience:
The applicants should preferably hold a Bachelor’s
Degree in Education
Possession of a Post Graduate Training in
Educational Administration and Management, Curriculum Development and any other
related field.
A minimum of five years’ experience of school
headship
