Job Summary: The
University Librarian will be in charge of the development, control, management
and coordination of all library and information systems and services of the
University in support of teaching, learning and research.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidates for the University Librarian vacancy must possess a PhD
in Library and Information Science from a recognized institution. The
applicants must also hold a Master’s degree in any of the following:
Librarianship and Information Management, Library and Information Science,
Library and Information Studies or
Library and Information Practice. - The
applicants must possess a first degree in any of the following
disciplines: Library and Information Science, Library and Information
Studies, Information Science or Social Sciences - At
least twelve years’ experience in managing library services in an
institution of higher learning and must have made at least nine (9)
publications. - Applicants
with experience in Higher Education Institutions will have an added
advantage. - Age:
Between 40-55 Years
