consultancy company which seeks to recruit on behalf of its valued Client in
the manufacturing industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Technical Manager will mainly oversee and manage
all production and maintenance activities of the company.
The incumbent will manage staff deployment,
development and motivation in order to achieve maximum productivity.
In charge of developing, implementing and managing a
fully functioning R&D Unit.
Actively promote good quality culture and lead the
implementation of ISO and TQM Quality management systems.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of good
health and safety programs.
Ensure cost effective production and increase the
energy efficiency.
Offer technical support to the top management to
enable them make good investment decisions.
Work closely with the top management to develop and
implement the long and short term goals for the company to ensure positive
results in the areas of manufacturing practices, material management and
inventory control.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from
time to time.
Experience:
The ideal candidate should preferably hold a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Possession of a Post
Graduate Diploma in Business Administration or higher Qualification will be an
added advantage.
A minimum of five of more years’ experience in a
busy manufacturing concern, two of which must have been at management level.
Good ethical conduct with a proven track record.
Age: Between 30-40
years.
