an expected turnover of over UGX 60 billion (FY 2010/2011).

Job Summary: The System Accountant will primarily manage
the Accounting software system to ensure efficient data capture and processing
for timely reporting.

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- In charge of creating and setting up new
users and their appropriate access rights. - Responsible for creating and setting up
new accounts and other codes after approval. - Make alterations and changes to the chart
of accounts after approval. - Attend to queries from systems users and
ensure timely resolution. - Ensure daily backup of data and general
security of the systems. - Input data in the accounting system.
- Responsible for carrying out
reconciliation of accounts. - Processing freelancers’ payroll.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidates for the Vision Group
System Accountant placement should hold a Bachelor’s degree from a
recognized University preferably in Business Computing or Business
Statistics. - Working knowledge of accounting software.
- Excellent and highly effective planning
and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. - Ability to work for long hours under
minimum supervision.
