Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The
Sales Representatives will establish, develop and maintain business
relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the
assigned territory/ market segment to generate new business for the
company products. - Stay
abreast of product applications, market conditions and competitive
activities. - The
incumbent will be tasked with determining customer preferences and product
development in order to recommend specific products and solutions to the
company. - Proactively
recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and
improve transaction profitability. - Actively
monitor competition by gathering current market place information on
pricing, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques etc. - Generate
new and repeat sales by providing products and meeting set targets. - Primary
sales and technical responsibility for a list of customers/regions - Local
travel to maintain and develop local sales - Offer
excellent customer service and technical/ application support - Ensure
customer expectations are exceeded - In
charge of fathering, reporting and acting upon competitor and market intelligence
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicants should preferably hold a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Sales
and Marketing, professional course will be an added advantage - A
minimum of two years’ experience working in a manufacturing company. - The
applicant should preferably have a
suitable background in steel and Plywood industry. - Possess
excellent communication skills - Excellent
interpersonal skills and Computer knowledge - Be
a good team player with ability to work independently and also under
strict supervision. - Age: Above 25 years
