Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and
the United States. Regional offices are in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
Job Summary: The National Training Officer will be
responsible for ensuring quality of training provided by the RTP team through
capacity building and coaching. The incumbent supports the development and
implementation of organization’s resources and training program in the country.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
1.
Training and Capacity Building:
·        
Development
annual training plan to enhance staff skills.
·        
Carries
out training sessions in child protection, gender, human rights and other
related subjects.
·        
Serves
as Child Protection focal point
·        
Mentors
and manages Supervisors and Coach Trainers and ensures quality delivery of
trainings.
·        
In
charge of development of a context specific training alongside the program
manager and partners

Activity Planning and Implementation:
·        
Ensures
Project Coordinators, Supervisors and Coach Trainers have a clear activity plan
·        
Carries
out regular follow-up visits of all project locations.
·        
Ensures
integration of partner organization activities into RTP activities and vice
versa.
·        
Technically
support the integration of training, capacity building and resource development
components in proposal development
·        
Support
the development of country and project programmatic annual plans.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The
applicant should preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in social studies,
development studies, adult education, projection planning and management or
other related field. Master degree preferred.
·        
A
minimum of five years’ experience in adult facilitation and International
Development Sector
·        
Working
M&E knowledge
·        
Excellent
coaching and mentoring skills
·        
Strong
background in adult education
