Limited SACCO works in partnership with Masindi District Farmers’ Association
and Masindi warehouse to facilitate over 12,000 small holder farmers to
increase production and productivity of maize grain and seed, add value to the
produce, and link the farmers to optimum markets. MADFA SACCO received funding
from Agricultural Business Initiative Trust to develop a warehouse receipt
discounting product to enable small holder farmers to bulk their produce at the
warehouse and sell collectively to remunerative markets.

Customer Relationships:
Build
an strengthen long -term relationship with current client base

Serve
as a focal contact person for client in regards to risk management strategies,
market data, etc
Prospecting:
Regular
analysis of grain markets in Uganda and the great lakes region
Identify
targeted prospects
In
charge of the development of Key Referral Centres

Speaking Engagements:
Present
market outlook meetings at banks, prospect meetings and industry conferences.

incumbent must be willing to travel for client meetings.
Experience:
The
ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Economics,
Business or related degree required.
The
Marketing Specialist should have detailed working knowledge of commodity
markets and previous experience working with grain producers

ability to keep abreast of current market conditions and short and long-term
market trends.
