Kampala producing anti-retroviral drugs (ARVs) & Artemisinin-based
Combination Therapies (ACTs) to combat HIV/AIDS and Malaria respectively.
Founded in 2005, it is a joint venture between Uganda’s Quality Chemicals
Limited & Cipla Ltd, a leading Indian pharmaceutical company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

charge of keenly reviewing the company Health, Safety and Environment policy

incumbent will be instituting necessary safety guidelines for staff, visitors,
fleet and machinery

Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:

The
applicants for the Health, Safety & Environmental Officer should preferably
hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Environmental
Sciences, Industrial Chemistry or Process, or any other relevant course
The

least three years’ demonstrable experience in the field of Health, Safety &
Environmental, in an industrial set up.

training and a working relationship with the relevant safety bodies and
regulators is an added advantage.
