Job Summary: The Head of Internal Audit will oversee
Uganda Clays’ Internal Audit function in providing reasonable assurance to
Management and the Board that risk management, control, and governance systems
are functioning as intended by developing an integrated internal audit
framework for the business. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for
ensuring that the company has internal audit risk benchmarks for every
department within the business and that all policies, systems and procedure are
operating and are implemented in accordance with best practice and organisation
policies.

company and practical recommendations for enhancing success and mitigating
risks.

charge of identifying and effectively managing UCL’s organizational risks in
order to maximize achievement of company objectives and provide guidance to
senior management on the effectiveness of the risk management strategies and
interventions implemented.

Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:

The
ideal candidate should preferably hold a Master’s degree in either Accounting,
Finance, Business Administration/ Management or Commerce and a full
professional qualifications either in ACCA, CPA, CIA or CIMA.
