About Compassion Project:
Namayingo Baptist Association
and New Hope Baptist Association of Bugiri in conjunction with Church of God
(E.A) is working in partnership with Compassion International in the Ministry
of Nurturing Poor Children, and releasing them from poverty in Jesus name.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The
    candidate should hold at least either Bachelor’s Degree and or Diploma in
    Development Studies, Social Work, Education, Business Studies, Social
    Sciences, Child Development, Community Psychology or Guidance and
    Counselling and Finance.
  • Good
    Computer Skills and Knowledge in Basic Accounting are a must.
  • A
    minimum of three or more years’ working experience with faith – based
    (local church) projects.
  • Past
    exposure and experience in child and community development work or
    knowledge of child sponsorship / Donor mechanisms.
  • Working
    knowledge and practice in Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation of community
    based projects.
  • Proven
    experience in Advocacy and Partnership building.
  • Proven
    Integrity in Personal and Public life in line with the Christian Values.
  • The
    applicant should be prepared to work beyond normal working hours as will be
    required in a rural setting with children and caregivers.
  • The
    ideal candidates must be Born Again Christian Professionals aged between
    25-35 years.
