that were often sought by many people who frequently moved abroad to seek
quality medical care.
Job Summary:  The Clinical Operations Manager will be carry
out a number of activities in order to ensure effective delivery of medical
care and clinical services such as cost management, utilization review, quality
assurance, and medical protocol development
Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 
  • Manage the day to day Clinical Operations
    of a multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Manage, develop and coordinate KHL
    clinical programs and operational activities on a 24-hour basis.
  • In charge of planning and implementing
    strategic changes to improve service delivery
  • Responsible for evaluating clinical
    practice of specified disciplines and review clinical records to ensure
    standards of care and quality of services are provided in accordance with
    quality assurance.
  • Regularly review and monitor staffing
    levels and performance of medical officers, Laboratory, theatre,
    radiology.
  • Ensure that KHL is in compliance with all
    legal and regulatory standards.
  • In charge of preparing and monitoring the
    budget components for the clinical department. Perform analysis of
    financial information, reporting trends and patterns; prepare corrective
    action plan as necessary.
  • Actively facilitate the team process
    including the interdisciplinary communication and negotiation skills.
    Support teams in development of team goals and standards; evaluate the
    educational and competency needs of staff.
  • Manage and resolve concerns encountered by
    personnel in the development of objectives and goals, physical facility,
    equipment and supply need, organizational structure, work distribution and
    operations process. Serve in rotation as administrator on call.
  • Gather and analyze data and use it to plan
    and manage both projects and systems extrapolate data for monitoring and
    quality assurance purposes
  • Significantly contribute to the identification
    of training needs and implement agreed training interventions, ensuring
    100% attendance by team members
  • Be accountable for disciplinary issues
    arising in your departments in line with agreed policy and where
    necessary, in liaison with HR
  • Ensure the medical resources operate to
    maximum efficiency
  • Develop and implement KHL Performance
    Improvement activities.
  • Carry out performance evaluations for team
    leaders.
  • Identify and respond to clinical issues
    within assigned departments.
  • Serve as a resource in compliance
    activities and as a support system for survey preparation and review to
    corporate and facility staff.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The applicants for the Clinical Operations
    Manager should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine (Additional
    qualification in MMed, public health or management will be added
    advantage)
  • At least three to five years’ experience
    in both clinical medicine and management.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken
    English:
  • Excellent communications skills (Written,
    Oral & Presentation)
  • Computer literacy i.e. IT skills in MS
    Office (High Level)
