Job Summary: The Cameraman will support in driving the
Standard Group TV News agenda by shooting high quality professional TV pictures
that are informative and that capture the mood and spirit of an event, and
assist reporters in developing appropriate accompanying stories.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The
incumbent will be tasked on assignments as allocated by Head of Camera
Unit and take the TV clips in a creative manner using different angles
whilst ensuring clarity and appropriateness of the content - Build
and maintain close working relationship with Editors and Reporters for
effective event coverage - Send
films to the Head of Camera Unit and concerned Editor within set deadlines - Take
and record accurate details of the subject matter covered - Describe
circumstances under which clips were taken in order to guide the Editors
in story selection and content - Take
care of camera and other equipment assigned - Perform
any other duties as assigned by the Head of Camera Unit
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
Cameraman should preferably hold a University Degree in Journalism or
University degree and training in journalism. Also, be in possession of a Diploma
from a reputable college, in Video Production or equivalent - A
minimum of three years of related work experience - Ability
to work long and odd hours - Skills
and experience in handling camera and camera work - Ability
to make quick decisions and improvise where necessary - Excellent
interpersonal skills - Impeccable
level of integrity
