Manager

unparalleled experience and expertise across business functions. Q Sourcing is
a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in
the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and South Sudan. They would like to
recruit for a valuable client, is a private company in Uganda, involved in
coffee procurement, processing and export. It is one of the leading coffee
exporters in the country, commanding an industry-leading market share.
In charge of the coordination of project
implementation in four coffee regions in Uganda, incl. development and
implementation of work plans;
Set-up and mentor commercial service provider teams;
Work closely with the service provider teams to
develop short and long term business plans to ensure their businesses are
profitable and viable;
Develop and coordinate all trainings required for
the successful implementation of the project;
Build and maintain effective working relationships
with the company staff, local partners and stakeholders;
Set-up and implement M&E system to capture achievements,
milestones & KPIs; and
Write technical project reports and support
financial project reports.
The applicant should preferably hold a Master’s
degree in Business management, business development and entrepreneurship or
business related subject;
A minimum of five years’ experience in an
enterprise/business development role in a company or development organization;
Demonstrated ability to develop viable, small
business enterprises that deliver (agricultural) services;
Experience in own business enterprise is an added
advantage;
Excellent track record of working with youth;
Experience with setting-up an M&E system to
capture achievements and KPIs;
Excellent project management skills and attention to
detail;
Entrepreneurial and creative spirit and drive and the
ability to lead by example;;
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build
positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders;
Hold a valid driver’s license.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50%)
to rural areas
