Job Summary: The Project Finance and Administration Officer
will support the Project Manager & Finance Manager in the financial
Management of the MCF Scholars Program, in accordance with the University
Finance Manual and the MCF financial regulations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- In
charge of preparing cheques, vouchers and ensure timely facilitation for
all project activities. - Keenly
track expenditures against budgets and ensure that the expenditures are
incurred in accordance with the contract. - Oversee
and monitor finance documents movement between the relevant stages of
verification and approval &Input of primary data in the Accounting
system. - Render
support in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly financial reports. - Ensure
timely accountability of the project funds - Perform
any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Project Finance
Manager
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidate should preferably hold an Honour’s degree in Commerce
(Accounting, Business Administration or any other related field from
recognised institution. - Possession
of professional qualification such as ACCA will be an added advantage. - A
minimum of three years’ experience in managing project funds. - Past
exposure and experience working in a university/education institution
environment will be an added advantage. - Excellent
interpersonal and communications skills - Good
working knowledge of accounting software packages - Computer
literacy i.e. proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
