Uganda (CDFU)
Director
Foundation Uganda (CDFU) is a non-governmental organization that implements
Development Communication programs aimed at influencing positive behavior
change for the social development of men, women and children in Uganda and the
entire East African Region.
Change Communication Specialists will provide BCC support to program activities
including work plans, accounting and reporting. The job holders will also
technically guide district based partners and provide capacity building in BCC
at national and district levels.
Experience:
- The
ideal candidate should hold a Master’s Degree in Communication, Health,
Social Sciences, Population or related field. - At
least five years’ experience in implementing Social Behavior Change
Communication (SBCC) interventions. - Detailed
working knowledge and experience working with districts, non-governmental
and community based organizations as well as Government departments. - Prior
experience working at the district level to implement SBCC interventions. - Working
knowledge and experience in advocacy, nutrition and reproductive health is
an added advantage.
