Job Summary:  The National
Events Manager will be in charge of planning, managing and evaluating events in
order to enhance sustainable growth in brand equity, sales volume and market
share, competitive advantage and corporate reputation.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible
    for Opportunity Assessment including Market potential study, customer
    service analysis, and in-trade execution
  • Manage
    country events to tap into the existing opportunities
  • Responsible
    for developing and aligning Events to the Route to Consumer national
    strategy
  • Develop
    and align Events strategy for the Country
  • Ensure
    that the events team meets Route to Consumer requirements
  • Ensure
    that event Plans are developed and aligned to Sales and Distribution
    strategies
  • Actively
    monitor competitor’ activities and make appropriate responses
  • Set
    event targets for the events department
  • In
    charge of mentoring and performance Management of subordinate empoyees.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The
    ideal candidate should hold a university degree in Sales, Marketing or Finance
  • A
    minimum of three years’ working experience Sales/ Marketing Management.
  • Possess
    a valid drivers’ license with a clean driving record.
  • Detailed
    knowledge and understanding of the industry is an added advantage
  • Excellent
    communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Goal
    driven and assertive
  • Good
    self-management skills
  • Consulting
    / negotiating skills
  • Excellent
    leadership, managerial and supervisory skills in a role that requires
    continuous creativity and innovation.
  • Excellent
    interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Computer
    proficiency
  • Excellent
    analytical and numeracy skills.
