Group is a leading manufacturer of steel and plastic building materials within
East Africa. Our head offices are situated about 6km outside Kampala city
centre in Lubowa, along Entebbe road. Other group companies include; Roofings
Rolling Mills (located in Namanve) and Roofings Polypipes (located in Lubowa).
Summary: The Outlet Manager will be
tasked to sell the Company’s products in the most profitable way.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Meeting Sales Targets
Prepare and submit weekly accurate statistical
information on sales volumes and prevailing price movements at Outlet
In charge of new customer acquisition
Ensure daily reconciliation of physical cash
balances with ERP book balances/sales
Ensure customers’ current cheques received and
cash collections by the cashier are correctly deposited to the official company
bank account.
Send all PDCs received to Accounts Dept on daily
basis.
Time to time reconciliation of Cheque payments
against ERP Cheque Register
Ensure full accountability of inventories in relation
to ERP system balances.
Send daily physical stocks verification reports
Responsible for budgetary planning and management
for outlet resources.
Control of stationery not in use i.e. Receipts and
Tax Invoices
Receiving any customer complaint(s) and forwarding
to the Senior Sales and Marketing Manager for follow-up action
Responsible for credit control and management
Oversight and control of physical security
facilities at the super store i.e. CCTV Cameras
In charge of monitoring and control over manpower
and all operations at the superstore. Collecting the outstanding dues on time
Providing Quotations and Tenders Training Sales
and Marketing executives.
Quick communication to Management in case of any
suspicion or manipulation of the system Perform any other tasks that may be
assigned by the Senior Sales and Marketing Manager.
Skills and Experience:
The incumbent should preferably hold a Post
Graduate with additional qualifications in Sales & Marketing Training in
business related field
A minimum of two to three years’ experience in
Sales an added advantage
Computer literacy skills
Possess the ability to effectively lead a team
Ability to communicate and interact well with all
levels of staff
Ability to work independently
Good problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
High degree of integrity
Flexibility and innovation – confident in trying
new things and exploring new sales leads
Goal driven – ability to thrive in a results
