and the Middle East. Standard Chartered Bank Uganda is the longest established
international bank in the country; the first branch was opened in August 1912.
We had 11 branches up to 1972 and retained only one branch during the
turbulence of the 70s. In 1998 we acquired 4 branches of former Cooperative
Bank in November 1999. Standard Chartered Bank Uganda today has a network of 11
branches in Kampala, Jinja, Mbale, Mbarara and Gulu. Standard Chartered Bank
Uganda has 29 ATMs and over 600 staff.
Responsibilities:
- Handle
all transactions in accordance with bank requirements - Ensures
that all transactions are finalized in a timely manner and within the
service standards defined by the bank for a particular customer or product
and maintains all standards of quality to ensure that the bank meets the
customer’s total needs and that continuous effort are made to exceed customer’s
expectations
- Responsible
for the daily reconciliation of all STS Suspense accounts - In
charge of daily reconciliation of all web-based payments received - The
Direct Payments & Collections Officer will ensure all payments are
accurately processed and in a timely manner
- In
charge of the preparation of monthly
GKCSAs and BKCSAs - Prepare
monthly volume statistics and submit to TB - Ensure
timely reporting of all risk & loss issues into Phoenix - Maintain
proper record keeping on all KCSA related activities - Report
units’ OR issues and losses to UORM
- Maintain
group KYC & ORMA standards,
Anti Money Laundering procedures and Compliance policies - Act
as back-up for RCMS/Collections desk in case of leave or absenteeism
Experience:
- The
