often referred to as Brookside Dairies, is a dairy processing company in Kenya,
the largest economy in the East African Community. Brookside Dairies was
established in 1993 by members of the Jomo Kenyatta Family, including his son
Uhuru Kenyatta, who was elected President of Kenya in 2013. In 2009, the
Gulf-area-based private equity firm Abraaj Capital paid US$18.7 million for 10
percent shareholding in the business. In 2014, French yoghurt maker Danone paid
an undisclosed sum to acquire a 40 percent stake in Brookside. Beginning in
2013, Brookside has expanded by buying stakes in rival milk processing plants
in Kenya, Ethiopia, Nigeria, and Uganda. In Uganda, they partly own a
subsidiary, Sameer Agriculture and Livestock Limited.

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:

- The
ICT Manager will be tasked with monitoring and managing the SAP enterprise
system for Brookside - Ensure
network and internet administration and support - Ensure
100% integration of all ERP modules / - The
incumbent will ensure data integrity and security - Ensure
timely upgrade of software systems and hardware but ensure minimal
interruption of business - Develop
and Implement the ICT budget - Send
periodic reports and statistics for management use - Enhance
timely response to business objectives. - Manage
the maintenance of current ICT applications - Provide
hardware support
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The
ideal candidate for the ICT Manager Job at Brookside should hold a University
Degree in Computer Science or its equivalent - Possession
of a higher Diploma in ICT, Networking and Database management - A
minimum of five years’ experience in ICT - Network
essentials and management skills - Structured
cabling and technical support experience - Ability
to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Be
a good team player
